John Eduafor Jnr has been named Bofoakwa Tano FC’s new head coach for the remainder of the Ghana Premier League season.
He replaces former Black Stars defender Frimpong Manso, who just left the team via mutual termination.
The team has been having difficulties lately in the Ghana Premier League, therefore it is up to the former assistant coach of Asante Kotoko SC to get them back on track as soon as possible.
Bofoakwa Tano who were recently promoted to the Ghana Premier League have only won once in the previous nine league games. Out of the 13 games they have played this season, they have only managed three victories.
When they broke an eight-year curse by winning the Ghana Premier League with When Kotoko won the Ghana Premier League in the 2021/2022 season, Eduafor Jnr served as Dr. Prosper Narteh Ogum’s assistant.
When Bofoakwa plays against the league’s reigning champions, Medeama SC, John Eduafor Jnr will be in charge of operations for the first time at the dugout.
Bofoakwa Tano are currently 10th on the league table.
