The Ethics Committee of the Ghana Football Association (GFA) has invited the Board Chairman of Bofoakwa Tano Mr. Yaw Boateng Gyan over his comment that some Dreams FC officials influenced the exit of Andrews Kwadwo Appau from the Ghana U-20 team.
It would be recalled that, Mr. Boateng Gyan made a comment during an interview with Accra-based Angel FM that some officials of Dreams FC threatened his player Andrews Kwadwo Appau to sign for the club or face exit from the Ghana U-20 camp.[ads2]
Mr. Boateng Gyan stated that the player later signed for Ghana Premier League record holders Asante Kotoko and was subsequently dropped from the Ghana U-20 camp.
Dreams FC reported the case to the Ghana FA Ethics Committee who have invited the renowned football administrator for investigations.[ads3]
A statement from the Ghana FA states that, Yaw Boateng Gyan has up till Friday, November 27, 2020 to submit a written statement to the Ethics Committee or face sanctions.
