It was a horrific Saturday afternoon in Bogoso in the Prestea Huni-Valley Municipality in the Western Region when heavy timber logs fall off a truck in the midst of a busiest market in the town.[ads2]
According to reports, the chains tying the timber logs on the truck loosened resulting to the logs falling off the truck and trapping about three vehicles and tricycles.
The unfortunate incident is said to have occurred at the Bogoso central market where there was a huge crowd since Saturdays are market days in the area.
The exact number of people dead is yet to land on our desk but it is believed that many people were feared dead while several others sustained severe injuries.
