Information reaching the media indicate that, authorities of Adiembra Senior High School in the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolitan Assembly in the Western Region have dismissed about 120 students for breaching the Coronavirus protocols.
It is reported in the media that, the students who are all males have been dismissed from the school for allegedly sneaking out of the campus without the knowledge of the school authorities.

With restrictions and protocols laid down to ensure a Coronavirus-free environment in the school, the authorities believe the students ‘stubborn’ acts is against the laid down policies and have therefore been sacked from the school.
But the said students speaking to Adom FM reporter in the Metropolis Lord Tawiah, explained that, they left the campus to search for water.

They explained that, since the reopening of school on Monday June 15 2020, they have not had access to portal water thus leaving campus to search for water.
The boys further alleged that female students are being allowed to go outside for water and other necessities and it was the reason why no female was sacked.
Speaking in the local dialect, they urged the media and other authorities to come to their aid.
They also accused management of keeping close to 60 students in one dormitory which is against the directives of President Akufo-Addo.

Standing on the streets with their belongings, the boys asked government officials and interest parties to visit the school since measures alleged to be put in place to curb the spread of the virus are all being breached and disregarded by school authorities and teachers.
