Captain for the Ghana Senior National team, Black Stars, Asamoah Gyan has announced his retirement from international duties.
Gyan who has scored over 51 goals in about 106 appearances for the national team, after fourteen years of serving the nation has finally decided to retire from international football.
The Kayserispor attacker, 33, made his national team debut in 2003 during a friendly with Somalia on November 19, 2003 and even scored whiles at age 17.
He has also asked to be excuse from the AFCON 2019 which will be hosted by Egypt. Below is the release confirming his sudden decision.
