Team sheets used by Karela United in the ongoing Goldfields Western Region Invitational Tournament defeat the regulations of the tournament.
According to the teams sheets in the possession of Kyfilla.com, Karela United fielded players who were ineligible to have played games against Skyy FC and Sekondi Eleven Wise.
The said players were Enock Mireku, Emmanuel Keyekeh and Nelson Boahene who were originally not in the lineup used against Sekondi Hasaacas Football Club.
According to the team sheet against Hasaacas, the aforementioned players were not part of the Karela United 25-member squad during their clash in the group stage but subsequently they were included in the other games.

In the same instance, Sekondi Eleven Wise were mandated to sideline Abeiku Ainooson and Leonard Tawiah from the squad before engaging Hasaacas FC because it wasn’t in the regulation to exchange players when the list has already been submitted and approved.
But the organizers waved bye to Karela United and even printed a new team sheet with these players; Emmanuel Keyekeh, Enoch Mireku and Nelson Boahene on them.
Hasaacas failed to qualify for the semifinals of the competition after accumulating 4 points same as Karela United. But with this revelation, it is revealed that Karela United even played games against Skyy FC and Sekondi Eleven Wise bending the rules.
