The decision to reinstate Wassaman United into the 2019/20 Division One League was taken by the Executive Council of the Ghana Football Association.
According to a release from the GFA, Wassaman United have been elevated to the division one league after King Faisal has been reinstated to the 2019/20 Ghana Premier League.
Wassaman United per the release from the GFA, were the best relegated team in the zone II in the 2016/17 season and will replaced King Faisal.
