Ghanaian Boxer Braimah Isaac Kamoko popularly known as Bukom Banku, has announced his retirement from boxing.
According to him, he is looking forward to handing over the claiming the baton to his children.
“I’ve grown, and at the same time, my eye is also paining me, so I don’t want to fight again.I’ve packed my gloves and my shoes, all for them, Abu Kamoko and Mustafa Kamoko” Bukom Banku said in an interview with Okay fm.
Looking ahead, Bukom Banku disclosed his intentions to host concerts or venture into comedy.
Although the majority of his professional fights were in Africa, specifically in Ghana, in 2019 Bukom Banku won a fight against Ferenc Albert, a Hungarian, after three rounds in the United Kingdom.
