Legendary Reggae Band Steel Pulse has accused Nigerian Afrobeat singer and Grammy Award winner Burna Boy of disrespecting them during this year’s Summer Jam 2024.
According to the Reggae Band Steel Pulse, Burna Boy and his large entourage including securities decided to kick them (Steel Pulse Band) out of their dressing rooms.
Steel Pulse said that the Afrobeat artist wanted to take 4 rooms for his entourage who were desperate to find a place to dress up for the show.
In a post cited online, the Steel Pulse Band keyboardist, Selwyn Brown wrote the following after the event,
“@burnaboygram and security crew fully disrespected us @steelpulseofficial trying to kick us out of our dressing room so he could have 4 dressing rooms for his massive entourage.”
Steel Pulse is one of the household reggae bands from the late 80s to the late 90s. some of their greatest hit music are Chant a Psalm, King James Version, etc.
