Ghanaian club, Hasaacas Ladies have been shortlisted for the club of the year award in the 2022 CAF Awards slated for July 23, 2022 at Morocco’s capital Rabat.
Hasaacas Ladies will compete alongside Mamelodi Sundowns of South Africa, ASFAR of Morocco, Equatorial Guineas Malabo Kings, Wadi Degla of Egypt, Nigeria’s Rivers Angels and AS Mande of Mali.
Hasaacas Ladies unprecedentedly in the history of Women’s football on the continent bagged 5 flagship trophies in the season under review. The Giants as fondly referred to won the West Africa Football Union Zone B Championship for its maiden edition, and grabbed all four domestic titles competed for in 2021.
Hasaacas Ladies made the final of the maiden CAF Women’s Champions League held in Egypt’s capital Cairo.
Not only that Doris Boaduwaa and Evelyn Badu were announced as part of the Young Player of the Year nominees in a list of 10 players.
In the Interclub Player of the Year category Hasaacas Ladies had 4 players in the list; Skipper Janet Egyir, Doris Boaduwaa, Evelyn Badu and Perpetual Agyekum – the joint-highest contribution alongside Mamelodi Sundowns.
Evelyn Badu, Perpetual Agyekum and Doris Boaduwaa made the list for the Women Player of the Year Award.
