Ghana’s Premier League champions, FC Samartex, will face off against Victoria United FC from Cameroon in the preliminary round of the CAF Champions League.
This match-up was determined during the July 11, 2024 draw at the CAF headquarters in Cairo, Egypt.
FC Samartex, fresh off their historic first-ever Ghana Premier League title win, will make their debut in the CAF Champions League.
The Timber giants will embark on a two-leg journey, first traveling to Limbe for the first leg before hosting their opponents in the return fixture at the Accra Sports Stadium.
The preliminary round is set for August, with the victor advancing to the second round in September.
They will then face either ASGNN from Niger or the Moroccan giants, Raja Club Athletic.
