Defending Champions of the Ghana Premier League Medeama SC departed Ghana last night ahead of their CAF Champions League game with Young Africans.
As usual, the playing body left the shores of Ghana with the Coaching staff and other members of the team’s administration.
Medeama who play Young Africans on Wednesday in round four of the Champions League group stage drew 1-1 with Young Africans in the first leg at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium.
Prior, to the first leg, Medeama suffered a 3-0 loss to Al Ahly defeated CR Belouizdad 2-1.
Medeama are now third with 4 points just as CR Belouizdad and Al Ahly leading with 5 points.Young African are now at the bottom of the group with 2 points.
The Ghanaian Champions are looking forward to secure qualification or advance from the group stage of the CAF Champions League and for this reason, they have all to play for against Yanga.
