Reigning Betpawa Ghana Premier League Champions Medeama SC, have departed to Cairo today in preparation for their CAF Champions League match against Al Ahly this coming weekend.
The Mauves and Yellows have overcome all odds to enter the money zone for the first time ever.
They are paired with Young Africans from Tanzania, Algeria’s CR Belouizdad, and Al Ahly in Group D.
The grand masters Al Ahly will host Medeama in their first group stage game this weekend in what looks to be an epic match.
In order to be prepared and poised for the game, Medeama SC have left today. They hope to arrive early and quickly acclimate to the pitch, weather, and other conditions.
Black Stars trio Nurudeen Abdulai, Fatawu Hamidu and Jonathan Sowah have already joined the team.
The match is set to begin at 19:00GMT on Saturday, November 25, at Al Salam Stadium.
