Medeama’s bankroller, Moses Parker has sent an impassioned message to Ghanaian football fans as anticipation for the CAF Champions League matchup between Medeama and Al Ahly grows.
Parker pleaded with his fellow Ghanaians to show up to the Baba Yara Stadium on Friday and fully support Medeama in an exclusive interview with Peace FM.
Parker is aware of the task ahead given the solidity of Al Ahly’s team and the presence of several players from the Egyptian national team. He has optimism that Medeama will be able to handle the situation, nevertheless.
“Ghanaians should come and support Medeama; it is Ghana versus Egypt now, that is how the game is. If you look at Al Ahly, their team is very strong. Look at the Egypt national team; almost 10 players have played for them.”They are all coming here, and if they want good football to watch, this is the time Ghana should come and support so that we thrash them,” Parker stated.
