Ghana Premier League defending champions Aduana Stars have secured their first victory in the CAF Confederation Cup campaign.
The Ogya Boys whipped counterpart from Congo, AS Vita Club by 2:1 courtesy goals from impeccable attackersĀ Bright Adjei and Yahaya Mohammed in the 3rd and 10th minutes respectively in the first department of the crucial encounter.
Glody Ngonda Muzinga had the consolation goal for the Congolese giant in the 26th minutes of the first half at the Nana Agyemang Badu Park in Dormaa.
The win for the only Ghanaian representative left in the ongoing African inter-Clubs competition means they have 4 points after 3 matches, same as AS Vita Club.
Meanwhile Asec Mimosas and Raja Casablanca have played only 2 matches currently accumulating 3 and 2 points respectively with the two teams scheduled to meet today at exactly 4:00pm .
Aduana Stars will travel to Congo to played their next group stage match against AS Vita Club on Sunday 29th July, 2018.
