Ghana Premier League giant Kumasi Asante Kotoko are to pitch camp in Ethiopia ahead of their CAF Confederation Cup game against Kenyan side Kariobangi Sharks.
Kariobangi Sharks are likely to lock horns with the Porcupine Warriors in the next round of the CAF Confederation Cup preliminary stage after beating Artar Solar from Djibouti 6:1 in the first stage of the prelims in Kenya and would travel to Djibot for the next game.
However, report that Kyfilla.com is getting indicates, the Kumasi based team will travel to Ethiopia for a 4 day camping before flying to Kenya for the big clash.
Coach C.K Akunnor’ side will before engage in some local friendlies with Cape Coast Mysterious Ebusua Dwarfs and Inter Allies at the Accra and Tema Sports Stadium respectively before moving to Ethiopia.
Kotoko had a walk over in the first round of the preliminary stage of the competition after the Cameroon Football Federation failed to present a second team to face Kotoko in the Confederation Cup.
In Kotoko camp currently, ace striker Songne Yacouba has return to light training after an ailment whereas Abdul Ganiyu, Maxwell Baako and co are in good shape for the much awaiting clash.
