FC San Pedro have eliminated Asante Kotoko from the CAF Confederation Cup after a sounding 2:0 victory at the Felix Houphouet Boigny Stadium on Sunday.

Goals from Soumaro Cheick and Tidjae Diomande were enough as the Ivorian side defeated the Porcupines to secure ticket to the group stage of the competition.
Soumaro Cheick opened the deadlock for the Oranges as early as the first minute of the game.
Kotoko tried their possible best to get the equalizer but all attempts went futile as the first half ended 1-0.
