Kumasi Asante Kotoko jetted off to Ethiopia today enroute to Zambia for Zesco United duel on Sunday at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium.
The Porcupines aboard Ethiopia Airlines at the Kotoka International Airport and expect to land in Addis Ababa late in the afternoon.
The Kumasi based club will spend the night in Addis Ababa before flying to Ndola on early Thursday morning.
In all eighteen member squad made the trip with deadly goal poacher Songne Yacouba excluded from the list due to suspension whereas Dany Zabo, Frederick Boateng and Prince Acquah made the cut.
Kotoko, the only Ghanaian representative in the CAF inter-club competition, will face Zesco United in the last group game of the Confederation Cup at the Levy Mwanawasa Stadium in Ndola on Sunday March 17, 2019.
The encounter promises to be fireworks as Asante Kotoko are determined to secure all the three points against the Ndola based side who are already out of the competition.
