Nsoatreman’s chances of making it to the CAF Confederation Cup group stage are now very little as they have lost 2-0 to CS Constantine at the Accra Sports Stadium in the first leg of their last qualifying round.
The Ghanaians now need a miracle to win the second leg at Algeria’s Mohamed Hamlaoui Stadium next week. Zakaria Benchaa of CS Constantine made the difference by netting both goals.
They dominated possession and created plenty of chances, but Nsoatreman’s finishing failed them down as they missed multiple chances to draw the game. At the final whistle, the players were disheartened and the fans were left feeling let down.
In order to maintain their hopes of playing on a group stage, they need to give their greatest performance so far.
