Nana Kweku Yensu I, life patron and president of the Cape Coast Venomous Vipers F.C. club, has resigned from his position.
Nana Ayensu has been the life patron and president of the Cape Coast outfit for the past three years and has stood solidly behind Vipers true thick and thin.
In a statement, the life patron said that while he has done everything within his power to ensure the team’s qualification for the Division 1 league, he finds the task intimidating because he has not seen any progress to date.
Since the supporters union is the lifeblood of the Cape Coast Venomous Vipers, he has transferred all of his shares to them and is requesting to manage the team under the umbrella of the supporters association.

Subject: Resignation and Transfer of Shares
Dear Sir,
I hope this letter finds you in good health and spirits. It is with a heavy heart that I write to you today to inform you of my decision to resign from my position as Executive Chairman of Venomous Vipers Football Club, effective today.
Over the past 3years, it has been both an honour and a privilege to serve the club and its esteemed patrons. I have poured my heart and soul into leading our beloved club, with the ultimate goal of bringing about the success and progress we all aspire to achieve. Despite our collective efforts and dedication, it is evident that the results we desire have remained elusive.
While I take great pride in the accomplishment of guiding our team to qualify for the Division 1 league, it has become increasingly clear to me that my leadership alone is not sufficient to propel the club to the next level of excellence. As such, I believe it is in the best interest of the club and its supporters to facilitate a transition that will enable fresh perspectives and strategies to be implemented.
In light of this, I am formally requesting the transfer of all my shares in the club to the Supporters Association. It is my firm belief that placing the ownership and stewardship of the club in the hands of the supporters, who are the lifeblood of our community, will ensure its continued vitality and success.
The fans of the Vipers are excited and looking forward to their team’s return to the Premier League after over ten years away.
