Kumasi Asante Kotoko goalie, Felix Annan believes his outfit can progress to the quarter-finals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
Kotoko were held to a 1:1 stalemate by Al Hilal Omdurman yesterday in match-five encounter of the competition at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi.
The Porcupines, currently sit third on the group C table with seven points and have to amass all the three maximum points against Zesco United in Zambia on Sunday to make it to the next stage even though it seems impossible.
Annan, who has been in poles for the Porcupines in all the matches is confident that the playing body will do their maximum best against Zesco United who are mathematically out of the competition.
” It’s not the way we wanted but it’s football and there is still hope”, he told Oyerepa FM.
” We have not given up yet because the last game in Zambia, we are poised to give our best to make sure we win against Zesco so we can qualify for the next round.
