Celebrated Nigerian actor Emeka Ike and his family have welcomed a new member into their home after he announced that he and his wife welcomed a new baby girl on Thursday, March 21.
Additionally, the date marks the veteran actor’s birthday. The actor’s family and their new baby were featured in photos and videos that were attached to the post.
In memory of his late mother, who passed away in November 2023 at the age of 90, he named her Chidera Comfort Thando Ike.
Emeka Ike expressed gratitude to God, saying that the arrival of his daughter had filled the void left by the death of his mother.
The actor additionally conveyed his appreciation to his spouse for the ordeal she endured during childbirth.
“ITS A DOUBLE BLESSING FOR ONE LOSS…Happy *BIRTHDAY* to me and WELCOME to baby, Chidera COMFORT Thando Ike. The good LORD has filled the huge vacuum that Mama COMFORT Okwuchi Ike left behind, with another COMFORT Chidera T Ike,” he wrote.
“At this serious moment, my family and I are COMFORTED and could not ask for anything better.” Thank you to my beautiful wife for taking the pain of this wonderful gift,” Emeka Ike added.
The veteran actor has been away from screens for some time now after he came out to reveal some of the predicaments he faced in marriage.
