Chelsea winger Willian believes his side were unlucky not to beat Barcelona on Tuesday night.
The match ended in a 1-1 draw after Willian’s second-half strike was cancelled out by Lionel Messi. Barcelona had 73 per cent possession for the match, but Chelsea were unlucky not to score more goals, with Willian hitting the post twice in the first-half.
Antonio Conte’ side will now have to score in the reverse fixture on March 14. But Willian reckons Chelsea should be taking a greater advantage to the Camp Nou.
He told BT Sport: “I’m happy for the goal but I’m a bit sad with the result. I think we deserved to win – they had more possession but we created dangerous chances to score. We have to go there and play the same game.
“I was a bit unlucky (hitting the post twice). I have to keep on working and look forward to the other games.”
