Chibsah Foundation have donated assorted food items to the aged and the less privileged at Old Tafo Zongo community in the Ashanti Region.
The donation is to support the government’s effort in the fight against the coronavirus pandemic in Ghana.
The Foundation donated items like bags of rice, oil, canned foods among others.

The Chibsah Foundation is a Ghana-based non-governmental organisation (NGO) which aims at supporting the needy in the community and create public awareness on ageing issues and the problems facing older persons.
Coronavirus cases in Ghana
President Akufo-Addo announced in a Nationwide broadcast on Thursday evening that so far Ghana has recorded 378 cases of the pandemic with 6 deaths.
He indicated that 4 people have recovered with 2 in critical condition.

“As I said,we now have, in total, three hundred and seventy-eight (378) confirmed cases of infections, with six (6) deaths, four (4) recoveries and the remaining three hundred and seventy (370) are mild cases, who are in isolation, and are either being managed at home or at treatment centres”, President Akufo-Addo said in his address on Thursday.
Globally, 1,617,204 cases have been confirmed with 364,686 recoveries whilst 97,039 have died.
