Asante Kotoko management member Nana Kwame Dankwah has hit the nail right on the head on reportage that the National Circles Council Chairman Christopher Damenya has interest in the Kotoko Executive Chairman position.
It was all over in the local media that, there is fraction between Dr. Kwame Kyei and Christopher Damenya as the Executive Chairman believes Damenya has interest in his position in the club.
Nana Kwame Dankwah who is also first vice at the National Circles Council has stated that Damenya has no interest in the Executive Chairmanship position at Kotoko.

In an interview, Nana Kwame Dankwah indicated that there are faceless people in the club who want to bring fractions between the two.
“Seriously, we’ve all come to realize that people wanted to create conflict between Dr. Kyei and Christopher Damenya. It’s not his (Christopher Damenya) dream and through position to become a Kotoko chairman because he sees Dr. Kyei as his senior brother”, Nana Kwame told OTEC FM.
“You cannot be sitting outside and think that you can become Kotoko’s chairman because you help the club with your money. Mind you, no one can find his way into Kotoko’s chairmanship role without the approval of the Great King (Otumfuo Osei Tutu II). There is no iota of truth in that impressions” He added
