Assistant coach of the Black Stars Charles Kwablah Akonnor has congratulated Maxwell Konadu for landing the Asante Kotoko coaching role.

Konadu was appointed the new head coach of Asante Kotoko on a two-year deal after fruitful discussion.
On his twitter handle, Akonnor has congratulated Maxwell Konadu for accepting to coach Kotoko again after leaving in the 2011/12 season.

Akonnor left Asante Kotoko as the head coach in just nine months after signing a three-year deal in 2018.
During his time as the Kotoko gaffer, Akonnor reached the group stages of the CAF Confederation Cup and also won the NC Special Competition tier I.
