The Ghana FA Normalization Committee has disqualified seventeen division two clubs from participating in the upcoming Western Region Football Association Chairmanship elections.

According to a release from the Ghana FA, the seventeen clubs have been disqualified because they either failed to participate in the truncated 2017/18 season or didn’t register the required number of players for their matches.
The seventeen clubs are; Hope For Refugees Soccer Academy, Bompiesu Soccer Masters FC, Akyiase Real United, Sekondi Rospak FC, Finic Football Club, Nkatieso Rocky Stars FC, Aowin Lucky Stars, Junior Neff FC, Adjoafua Insha Allahu FC, Nkonya Enye Easy FC, Nazalian FC, Bia Stars FC, Ankara SC (Takoradi), Sydney FC, Asankra Oda Rock and Asuohyam FC.

The elections will be held on October 18, 2019
