“Kwasi Appiah has done a lots for Ghana and I have huge respect for him. We [Sports Ministry] through the GFA contacted him, gave him an appointment with our full support.
“In all the assignments he has engaged in, I have been given him my support. We gave him a contract of two years and we don’t owe him even a pesewa but his contract extension that’s what we are owing him and it’s about three months. He has not been disrespected. We gave him the needed respect.
“When I became the Minister, we were owing coach Avram Grant but we solved the issue and paid him off. Gradually, I can assure you that we will pay Kwasi Appiah all his arrears. We love him as a Ghanaian and have nothing against him”, Hon. Asiamah added.
