Ghanaian comic actor and CEO of Dabo Soccer Academy, Yaw Dabo has welcomed Arsenal football agent Phil Antwi to Ghana as part of a player scouting program.
Yaw Dabo and friends including fellow actor Don Little at the Kotoka International Airport warmly welcomed Phil Antwi.
The purpose of Antwi’s visit is to identify promising young footballers with the potential to thrive in Europe.
Antwi’s itinerary includes observing four matches in Accra, followed by games in Kumasi on July 6 and July 8. After witnessing these matches, Antwi will make his final selections.
Antwi’s visit is part of Dabo’s larger initiative to create opportunities for young Ghanaian footballers to reach their full potential in professional football.
This initiative has seen Dabo recently embark on a tour of Europe, where he has been actively seeking out partnerships and pathways for his players.
Dabo emphasized that Antwi’s connections with top European clubs like Liverpool, Manchester United, and Arsenal will significantly expand opportunities for players from his academy.
Antwi has a reputation for discovering players like Bukayo Saka, Reise Nelson, Smith Rowe, and many other talents.
