Goalkeeper of West Africa Football Academy, Ferdinand Sabi Acquah claims conditions at WAFA are far more favorable compared to playing for either Asante Kotoko or Hearts of Oak.
Acquah’s conviction of WAFA being a better club compared to Hearts or Kotoko is based on treatments players receive and salaries structure. According to the 22–year–old, WAFA has never owed player salaries since he joined the club in 2018.

He added that payment of salaries is sometimes done midway 15th or 17th of some months. He added that accommodation, feeding, utility bills are all catered for by the club and if juxtaposed to what’s happening at the two giants’ clubs where players are suppose cater for all these things, WAFA is a better club to play for.
“WAFA pay, they pay winning bonuses, salaries and treat players better than other teams not in camp. I’ve been at WAFA for two years and sometimes we[players] are even paid 15th and 17th of the month.

“The club cater for water bills, electricity bills, feed us too so when you combine all these things the conditions at WAFA are better compared to Hearts of Oak or Asante Kotoko that you’ll have to buy all these things” – WAFA’s Ferdinand Acquah. Acquah’s performance is regarded as one of the best in the suspended 2019/2020 league season.
