The government of the Republic of Ghana have appointed former Black Stars legends Abedi Pele, Anthony Yeboah and Dr. Kofi Amoah who was the Local Organizing Committee chairman for the 2008 AFCON to run football in the country on interim basis as earlier reported by www.kyfilla.com.

According to reliable source, the three officials have accepted the new role handed over to them by the government of the Republic.
This comes after the government is taking measures to dissolve the Ghana Football Association completely following its officials involved in Anas Aremeyaw Anas corruption video documentary dubbed ”Number 12”.
However, the interim 3 member committee have been tasked by the government to fly to Zurich- Switzerland to have a dialogue with the world football governing body FIFA to rescind any intentions of banning Ghana whiles restructuring is going on.

Meanwhile, FIFA have banned the then President of the Ghana Football Association Kwesi Nyantakyi for 90 days following some corruption allegations mounted against him.
