The Confederation of African Football (CAF) has changed and confirmed new kickoff time for Kumasi Asante Kotoko and Nkana FC clash on Sunday.
The match-four of the CAF Confederation Cup between the two sides at the Baba Yara Sports Stadium in Kumasi initially slated at 1:00PM kickoff time has been rescheduled to 4:00PM in the evening.
This was confirmed by CAF after Asante Kotoko through the GFA Normalization Committee wrote to the Ahmad Ahmad led team to reschedule the kickoff time to enable more of their supporters to troop to the stadium.
The General Manager for the Porcupines confirmed, that indeed CAF has adhered to thier plea and the encounter has been rescheduled to 4:00PM.
” CAF has just confirmed to us (Kotoko) the match is at 4pm not the initial 1pm. We wrote to them for clarification and that has been cleared”, he revealed to Oyerepa FM.
” It’s better for Kotoko on Sunday because everyone can make it to the stadium.
