Versatile disc jockey, Richmond Baidoo popularly known as DJ Champagne has called it a quit with Azay FM in Takoradi.
The industrious Champagne has left Azay FM after joining in October this year as the station’s entertainment show host.
His departure from Azay FM comes four days after his marriage with longtime girlfriend Sarah Dadzie at the Church of Pentecost in Kansaworado, a suburb in Takoradi.

Champagne joined Azay FM last month after resigning from Kingdom FM, a Unique Kingdom Communications subsidiary in the Western Region which has been shut down for sometime now.
According to sources, Champagne is rejoining Skyy Media Group, the operators of Skyy Power FM, WestGold Radio and Starr TV in the Oilcity.[ads4]
Champagne is returning to where he begun his journey in the media parlance as a disc jockey years aback.
He was discovered during Skyy Power FM’s annual DJ Contest event where he came first in that year.
Champagne quickly shot to fame with the turntable and started attracting interest from other stations in and outside the Western Region.
He left Skyy Power FM for Radio 360 before joining Kingdom FM somewhere in 2019.
The affable DJ Champagne resigned from Kingdom FM after the station was closed down from operation.
He is regarded as one of the finest disc jockeys in the Western Region with huge ardent followers.[ads1]
Should his return to Skyy Media Group materialized, Champagne will join the tall list of delight to listen disc jockeys at the media hub which include DJ Cash, DJ Abbey, DJ Berry, DJ Peekay, DJ Mawulie and host of others.
