Renowned broadcaster, Ekow Essilfie has joined Class Media Group subsidiary in the Western Region, Taadi FM.
The highly-revered sportscaster has joined the Takoradi-based station after leaving Focus 1 Media; the operators of Spice FM, Beach FM, Pluzz FM and Orange FM.[ads2]
Kyfilla.com can confirm that Ekow Essilfie has joined Taadi FM as the General Manager after a fruitful discussion.
The seasoned sportscaster parted ways with Focus 1 Media in September this year after three years of unadulterated service.
Affectionately referred to as “The Ruler”, Ekow Essilfie was the head of sports and the manger of Beach FM. He joined Focus 1 Media Group in August, 2018 after leaving Melody FM also in Takoradi.[ads3]
Ekow Essilfie is highly remembered for his days at Melody FM where he formed a fearsome partnership with knowledgeable sports pundits of Seth Kofi Aseidu, Manucho ManGandi, Macall Mensah, Evans Quansah and host of others.
His sports show then was a huge one, an English-speaking programme that wrestled with the twi-speaking sports programmes in the Western Region for equal attention.[ads4]
Ekow Essilfie was grabbing all the awards in the Western Region– he is considered as one of the top academia in the region as far as sports is concerned.
