The Western Regional Sports Director Jeffrey Owusu Manza has confirmed that he had a notification from the Government instructing him not to allow any Ghana Football Association sanctioned games at any state- owned football facility in the region till immediate effect.
This comes after the government of the republic had dissolved the Ghana Football Association and its works including all the football leagues in the country.
”We were instructed not to allow any FA sanctioned matches to be held at the various stadiums and it was from the government and I personally had the notification”, he said.
Asked whether he was shock about the Ghana Football Association officials captured in the Anas video documentary, Mr. Jeffrey Owusu Manza said that he’s not surprised because its a human institution and such act are involve but advised that a clue should be taken from the situation.
“I was not shock at all because its a human institution and such act are part but we must learn from this case”, he added.
