Accra Great Olympics have completed the signing of Isaac Mensah from Tamale City FC as confirmed by Mohammed Iddi, Chief Executive Officer of Tamale City FC last Sunday.
Mensah, who’s in the middle of a controversial double registration saga which has been reported to Court of Arbitration of Sports by the Petitioner, King Faisal FC has now relocated to Accra in a bid to start a new football journey.
Tamale City FC secured a 4-0 victory against King Faisal in the late embers of the betPawa Premier League and the Alhaji Grunsah owned Club took the matter to Ghana Football Association after realizing that Isaac Mensah was in the FIFA Connect as Jireh Kojo Nissi causing legal tussle which was ruled in favor of Tamale City and the player by the Disciplinary Committee and the Appeals Committee respectively.

Unsatisfied King Faisal FC took the matter to the Court of Arbitration of Sports awaiting judgement which will mean King Faisal will be reinstated in the betPawa Premier League while Accra Lions FC join Kotoku Royals and Tamale City FC to relegation.
In the heat of the whole process, Tamale City FC have transfered player, Isaac Mensah to Accra Great Olympics for the upcoming season as confirmed by the Club CEO, Mohammed Iddi:

“As we speak now, we are done with Issac Mensah matters in our team. We have sold him to Accra Great Olympics. In this coming season, he will be wearing the Olympics colours” – he told the media.
