Connect 97.1 FM marked the celebration of its 7th Anniversary with a donation to the Remar orphanage Home, Kejebril on Saturday, July 1, 2023.
Remar Orphanage Home, Kejebril in the Ahanta West Municipality of the Western Region received the reigning most listened to radio station in the Western and Central Regions with a receptive arm and celebrated the day with staff of the Takoradi-based station.
A team led by the Station Manager, Ransford Nana Osei Asare and Shirley Ewurama Smith dinned with the people at the orphanage home as part of their celebration and used the opportunity to thank the people of Western and Western North Regions for making Connect FM the best and most listened radio station.
Connect FM was officially launched by Media General as its subsidiary here in the Western Region on the 1st July, 2016.
It has since become the toast of the people of Sekondi-Takoradi and its environs as their preferred radio channel.
The Management of the Radio Station has put up a series of interesting on air programs from Sports, Entertainment, Politics, Social issues and more.
Listeners are always taken through their morning devotions by Ebenak 1 in the Adekyepa program from 4am to 5:45am.
Their morning show program dubbed Omanabapa which airs between 5:40am to 10am Monday to Friday hosted by Experience broadcaster Nhyhriaba Paa Kwesi Simpson has been named the Solution Center by the listeners because of how it has solved pertaining issues within the metropolis.
The mid morning show from 10amto 1:30pm is handled by the best mid morning host in the region Nana Yaw Gyebi , fellowed by the Orekodo News at 12pm with Wofa Ato Koomson and Paa Kojo Peters.

Sports Avenue and Sports Night with the Sports team led by veterans Benjamin Quansah, Stephen Kwame Yeboah and former AIPS young reporter Francis Hema comes on Tuesday to Thursday from 1:30-3pm and Monday to Thursday from 7-8pm respectively.
Queen of the airwaves Nana Adwoa Arthur and her producer Lady Scratch takes over with Yenko fie drive from 3-6pm Monday to Friday ..
Ato Kwamena Otto, the ladies men comes next with the late drive show from 8-10pm Tuesday to Thursday and the Entertainment review show on Fridays..
