The Ghana Immigration Service have arrested five Nigerians at Elubo in the Western region of Ghana.
According to reports, the Nigerians have been grabbed by the Immigration Service for attempting to escape the country via an unapproved route in Elubo.

The Nigerians who are all males between the ages of 35 and 40, were picked up by the patrol team last Saturday evening, upon a tip off from an informant from the community.
They have been arrested for flouting the orders of President Akufo-Addo who announced the closure of all Ghanaian borders either land, sea or air until further notice as part of the directives to prevent the Coronavirus pandemic.

According to the Public Relations Officer of the Ghana Immigration Service, Western Region Command, ICO Moses Manford Akakpo the Nigerians have been screened for the virus and sent back to their residence in Accra.
Meanwhile, Ghana has recorded 152 cases of the Coronavirus pandemic with 5 deaths and 2 recovery.
