Ghana has recorded 1042 confirmed cases of the Coronavirus pandemic with 9 deaths.
This was announced by President Akufo-Addo in his seventh address to the nation on new measures put in place by the government to fight the pandemic.

According to the President, 86,000 contacts have been traced with 68,591 tested. 1042 tested positive whilst 67,549 tested negative.

He mentioned that out of the 1042 confirmed cases, 930 are responding well to treatment either at isolation centres or their homes or even at the treatments facilities.
The President added that, after the treatments, they will undergo a mandatory two tests to determine if they have recovered from the virus or otherwise.

Meanwhile the partial lockdown ban on some parts of Greater Accra and Kumasi have been lifted by the President.
