The Paramount Chief of Upper Dixcove in the Ahanta West District of the Western Region Obrempong Hima Dekyi XIV has voluntarily donated to the Dixcove Government Hospital.
The overlord of Upper Dixcove donated food stuffs and other items to the Dixcove Government Hospital to aid the Covid-19 patients who are in quarantined at the isolation facilities in the Ahanta West District.

Receiving the items was the District Director of Health Mr. Timothy Kobina who expressed his profound gratitude to the overlord of Upper Dixcove for the kind gesture.
Coronavirus cases in Ghana
Ghana has recorded 6269 cases of the novel Coronavirus with 1898 recoveries and 31 deaths.
The Western Region alone has recorded 170 cases of the pandemic becoming the fourth region with the highest cases in the country.

The Greater Accra Region leads with 4582 cases followed by the Ashanti Region with 921 while the Central Region place third with 285 before the Western Region with 170 cases.
Only three regions in the country namely Savannah, Ahafo and Bono East have not recorded a case so far.
