The Western Region of Ghana has recorded ten new cases of the deadly Coronavirus according to the region’s Health Directorate.
This has brought the region’s cases of the pandemic to 111 with the new ten cases reportedly coming from the Sekondi Takoradi Metropolis and the Effia/ Kwesimintsim Municipality.
The Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis alone has now recorded 49 cases of the pandemic, making the Metropolis an epicenter in the Western Region while the Tarkwa Nsuaem Municipality follows with twenty-seven (27) cases.

Out of the ten new cases, nine (9) were from the Sekondi-Takoradi Metropolis and the other one (1) from the Effia/ Kwesimintsim Municipality.
Kyfilla.com understands that, 2990 samples are still pending which means the Western Region is likely to record more cases.
