Former Hearts of Oak defender Dan Quaye has included himself among the top three greatest players to ever played in the Ghana Premier League.
Dan Quaye came to the limelight at Great Olympics, playing for them from 1997-1998 before joining Hearts of Oak.
He played for Hearts of Oak from 1998-2007 before leaving for Chinese side Chongqing Lifan in 2007.

Dan Quaye won the 2000 CAF Champions League and the 2004 CAF Confederation Cup with Hearts of Oak and was a key figure then.
He has won the Ghana Premier League on six occasions as well as one Ghana FA Cup title.
With these achievements, Dan Quaye who has now retired believes he is one of the greatest players to ever played in the Ghana Premier League.
“I will choose Stephen Appiah and then I will pick Charles Taylor.

“Finally I will choose myself because I am proud of what I have achieved,” he revealed on The Tracker on Citi TV.
Dan Quaye capped ten times for the Black Stars of Ghana from 2001-2006 and was part of the Ghana squad that participated in the 2006 World Cup in Germany.
