A deputy Minister for Finance and Member of Parliament for Ejisu, John Kumah, was confirmed dead, according to a source close to the family, on Thursday, March 7, 2024.
In addition to being an entrepreneur and lawyer, the deceased served as the National Entrepreneurship and Innovation Programme’s (NEIP) first chief executive officer.
Hon. Kumah was also the founding member and managing partner of Aduaprokye Chambers, a law firm. He was also the owner of a building and construction firm, Majak Associates Ltd.
His extensive education includes a 2019 Nobel International Business School Post Graduate Diploma in Applied Business Research (NIBS). In 2009, he received an Executive Master’s degree in Business Administration (Finance) from the Ghana Institute of Management and Public Administration (GIMPA).
His education started at the University of Ghana, where he graduated in 2011 with a Bachelor of Arts in Economics and Philosophy, a Bachelor of Art in Law (LLB), and in 2013 a Professional Law Certificate from the Ghana School of Law.
He was admitted to the Ghana Bar in 2013. He is married to Apostle Mrs. Lilian Kumah and has six children.
