The Deputy Youth and Sports Minister, Hon. Perry Curtis Okudzato graced the French Embassy’s 2019 Youth Environment Sports Solidarity (YESS) held in Accra on Friday, May 10, 2019.
It was all fun and joy among the various participated schools when the deputy sector minister showed up at the event that seeks to increase the participation of young people in sporting activities at the early stage.
Honorable Perry Okwudzato commended the French Embassy led by Mrs. Anne Sophie AVE, for putting together such an excellent event which has not only enhanced the sporting abilities of the participated schools but inculcated in them, the relevance of engaging in activities that promote cohesion, protection of the environment and solidarity.
The participated schools were Bishop Girls Basic School, Al-Waleed Comprehensive Basic School, Muslim Institute School, Sakumono Complex 1 Primary, University of Ghana Basic School, LEKMA 1 &2 Primary, the Lycee Francais d’Accra, and the German-Swiss School.
Present at the YESS event was Hon. Mrs Elizabeth Sackey, the Deputy Greater Accra Regional Minister, Ghanaian Football Legend, Abedi Pele and Mr. Kwasi Tabury, CEO of Decathlon Ghana.
