Aduana Stars Fines Striker Derrick Sasraku For Skipping Training
Aduana Stars have however fined the striker a sum of GH 3000 in relation to the training ground altercation between Sasraku and deputy captain Elvis Opoku which left the latter hospitalized after receipt of heavy punches from Sasraku .
Confirming receipt of the letter from the club confirming the fine for breach of the club’s conduct on Fox FM, Sasraku said nobody at the club has phoned to check on him despite having asked for permission from the head coach, Yusif Abubakar.
“I received the letter of the fine yesterday [May 31] but I have nothing to say about it”, he said.
“I’m at home because of my stomach aches, I complained to the coach but since then no one has called to check on me”, he complained.
Sasraku has well been fined additional ghc 500 for absenting himself from training for the past few days, but the striker is left worried and surprised at the move since he believes he was granted the permission from the head coach to treat himself.
“I have nothing to say, am okay and focusing on how to recover because I informed the coach about my illness but they have still fined me for not attending training, I was very surprised when I received the letter but all I need is good health and strength” he added.
