Takoradi based Focus 1 Media disc jockey sensation Magnus Koomson, known in Media circles as ‘DJ Magnus’ has been nominated for the Ghana DJ Award, Western region category in the second consecutive time.
The delight to listen disc jockey expert cum Blogger lost last year’s Rush Western Region’s best Radio DJ award to Melody 91.1 FM’s DJ Bibibi, known in real life as Kennedy Nwiah.
However,this years category seems very competitive, as defending champion DJ Bibini, host of ‘Home Stretch’ on Melody FM get the nod again with Radio 360’s Magic George Pun, DJ Saint, TJ DJ, Wilsad Support Service finest DJ Berry and DJ Papa Steve all competing for the overall best accolade.
But Magnus believes of topping the other colleagues for the glory after massive work in the year under review.
“I am hoping to win this year’s award.I have done a lot to earn me the award.This award is really a motivational factor for us(DJs) knowing that our works are also recognized”, He told www.kyfilla.com.
