Minister for Youth and Sports, Honorable Isaac Kwame Asiamah has warned various Keep Fit Clubs scattered across the country to observe the precautionary measures put in place to combat the spread of the global pandemic Covid-19 virus.
The minister reechoed Government of Ghana’s relieve for non-contact sports to resume training during his press briefing earlier today, Wednesday, June 3 organized by the Ministry of Information.

Speaking to questions posed by some journalists present, the minister emphasized that the operation of Keep Fit Clubs can be held to keep the immune system boosted so as to combat the virus.
He further trumpeted that clubs can train in groups but shouldn’t exceed the 100 people mark, which was declared by the president in his earlier statement on Sunday, May 31, 2020.
