Obed Appiah of Esikado based Division two side ,Rail stars ,who emerged as the over all best player in the 2017 Betway Talent Search has told www.kyfilla.com in an exclusive interview that ,it is his dream to play for Spanish giant FC Barcelona in future.
The 17 year old, who was offered a 6 months trial with Ghana Premier league side Ashgold as part of the package for emerging as the winner has already started training with the miners at obuasi and thinks Ashgold will be a stepping stone for him to showcase his talent becos of their head coach CK Akonnor.
” I will like to play for Ashgold because i like coach CK Akonnor because I like his style of coaching and also his love for young talent” he said.
“So from Ashgold ,I will also play for Kotoko before moving to FC Barcelona in Spain” he added.
Obed ,used the opportunity to expressed his gratitude to the management and technical team of Rail stars football club for their support through out his career.
He also thanked Betway for giving him such a platform to showcase his talent and promise to do his best to fulfil his dream of playing the Spanish Champions Fc Barcelona.
