Black Stars head coach, Kwesi Appiah has revealed that it’s his dream to win the AFCON 2019.
According to the former Kumasi Asante Kotoko defender, clinching the giant AFCON trophy as the Black Stars head coach has been a dream he is hoping to fulfill.
Speaking at a presser today ahead of Ghana’ round sixteen fixture against Tunisia on Monday, Appiah indicated that, winning the AFCON 2019 is a huge task but has enough confidence in his team.
“You know, it’s my dream to win the AFCON and considering the surprises in the tournament, it won’t be easy to chest out and say Ghana is winning the ultimate but all the same I have confidence in my team”, Appiah told the press.
Meanwhile, Ghana continues the hunt for a fifth AFCON trophy as they take on the Carthage Eagles of Tunisia on Monday, July 8, 2019 at the Ismailia Stadium at 7:00PM Ghana time.
