Ghana MTN FA Cup Champions Dreams Football Club will face Malian giant Stade Malien de Bamako in the quarterfinals of the CAF Confederation Cup.
The only Ghanaian representative in Africa has been paired with the Malian giants in their quarter-final clash of the Confederation Cup.
Despite losing to Rivers FC 2-1 last week, Dreams managed to qualify and, for the first time in the team’s history, secure a spot in the quarterfinals.
Dreams FC will begin their quarterfinal defense on the road, traveling to Bamako to take on the Malian powerhouses that are typically found in these leagues.
As the Dreams group counterpart plays USMA, Egyptian heavyweight Zamalek will play Future FC.
